$250 Logo Contest For Sailing Site

    Description:
I am launching a new site for sailboat sailors, and I need a stunning logo design.

Name of the site is Sailorville.

The design needs to capture the vibe of sailing. It's about movement, it's about having the boat heeled over so far you are scared voiceless you are about to roll over, it's about breaking lose from the city and your job and getting away to another space.

It's a web 2.0 site, loaded up with all the social networking tools that that implies, and so the logo should have a contemporary web 2.0 feel.

Go for the vibe. Go for the sense of movement. Go for the feel of wind in your hair and sun on your face.

Please, no anchors. Please, nothing that would have looked at home in a yacht club in 1947.

Needless to say, this is work for hire. Once I pay for it, all rights revert to me. Equally needless to say, you need to be able to certify that it is your own work.

Best format is probably .png. I can and will resize it for the web, but I need a high resolution, lossless format that can be used for tee shirts and other swag as well as for stationery, business cards, etc.

Payment promptly by Paypal. As soon as I see a design that I love, the winner will be paid and the contest closed.

    Type of Contest: Logo

    Prize Money: $250.00

Website, Trademark or Brand Name: Sailorville

    Desired Color Scheme: Flexible

    Desired Style: Contemporary

    Desired File Formats: .png
