    You say you're going for a 'blog look' - Do you mean you're actually going to be using a blogging platform such as WordPress or you just want it laid out like a blog?

    If I don't actually use WP it'll still look like I'm using WP - so design it like it was going to be for WP.

    not really feeling the black with the yellow...

    I'd actually prefer a white bg mixed with some red/yellow in a blog style I like mentioned above.

    To ALL: With things constantly changing on the programing side of things - a blog style layout is preferred/needed. As for the colors - mostly white mixed with some red/yellow colors. Best example is Zeba's entry.
