    Hi Sikka,

Thank you for your design. There may have been some confusion with the requirements for the logo. We would like to retain the graphic component in the logo as it represents the services/methodologies that we provide to our clients. It can be repositioned, resized, rotated etc. to complement the design. The text is completely flexible and can be manipulated in any way. I will update the requirements to provide some clarity.

If you can please elaborate the feedback as i think this is what i have done. :-err Modified the graphics component a bit, not playing with the text too much without over doing it.

Looking forward to hear from you.

    Regards
    Sikka ;)

    Hi Sikka,
I like that you have modernised the logo and given it some life. I would like to see a bit more of a change from the original logo by playing around with the text. If you could somehow integrate the graphic and the MPM text and have the full company name positioned in such a way that it could be removed I think we would have a more versatile logo that could be used for other purposes (eg. email signatures).

Hi I would like to work on this.
I'm a bit confused from your lost two replies.
"We would like to retain the graphic component in the logo as it represents the services/methodologies that we provide to our clients. It can be repositioned, resized, rotated etc. to complement the design."
Isn't that what Sikka has done?
I'm really looking forward to working on this :)

    Hi KevP,
What I am trying to get at with Sikka is that although he has made a change to the logo to give it depth and make it glossy, it looks quite similar to the original still. I would like something that uses a similar shape graphic (6 hexagons around a central hexagon) but it does not need to be limited to the current look (ie. perspective view). It could be flattened, stretched, have big and small hexagons, increased spacing, outlining or a number of other variations. You can have the MPM text embedded inside the graphic or overlaying it.

I am sorry if I am confusing people. I come from a technical background so articulating artistic design is new to me. Please let me know if you require any further clarification.

    Hi frikusha,
Thanks for your entry. To me the graphic looks a bit like a radioactive symbol and doesn't look balanced. I like the use of different sized hexagons. Can you try having 3 horizontal hexagons with the letters MPM in them and then 2 hexagons above and below that are sized a bit smaller?

The text has a bit of a game company feel about it. Can you please try a different font? I'm after something clean and professional looking. Perhaps try a font with an engineering or architectural look to it.

I also like the look of the logo used on this site www.tasol.com.au. I don't know if you can work this into a design somehow.

Another option could be to have all the same size hexagons with one separated slightly so that it looks like the final piece of a puzzle.

You could have the letters MPM as hexagonal shapes with two hexagons above and below or even rotate it 90 degress and have the letters vertical.

    @frikusha
Very impressive effort. I am leaning strongly towards the top logo with the horizontal lettering. Can we try a different font?

The company name seems a bit detached from the logo. Can we bring the company name up beside the graphic and somehow make it look like it should be there?

I really appreciate the work you are doing. If it isn't too much trouble, can you do a version like the vertical MPM where the PM is vertical like it is, but then use the remaining 5 hexagons to spell out Maxim in a radial direction? By radial I mean that each letter in Maxim faces the centre hexagon. You may need to use colour for variation to help seperate the words. How would a white hexagon with a blue border blue writing look?

I like the top version. There is a bit of a font issue still but I am not exactly sure on what would suit your version of the logo until I see it. Maybe someone else can assist?

I like what you have done, but I am leaning towards the other two designs because I believe they would look better in print. If I was going to have a web business only I would definately look at something more along the lines of what you have offered. MPM is a consultancy company that produces many printed documents so that it is a key criteria for me.

Wow! I love how this this logo pops out of the page at you. Could I ask you remove the line in the P so the the border around the letters in continuous?

The graphic is good. Can you try reducing the gap between the hexagons slightly so that it is about the same thickness as the letter border? Could you please also do a version of the logo with the graphic flipped 180 degrees so that it is oriented like the original logo graphic?
