$250 Contest - PSD Only - Homepage Only

Hello!

REQUIREMENTS

I need you to design me a homepage PSD for a web hosting review website. The PSD doesn't need to be coded but after I pick a winner, I'd like him/her to design some other pages for me along with some banners and things - I'll be paying extra for this, of course.

The name of the website is Web Hosting Rave.

- Size should be about 1000x1000px (can be a little bigger).
- Bright colours, nothing dull and dark.
- Requires a fresh logo & maybe a mascot to represent the website, bright and cartoony.
- Needs a footer with room for links (contact, tos, advertise, links etc and also link trades) and a smaller version of the logo (and mascot, if included) at the side maybe. Take a look at the footer links on webhostinggeeks.com - I like that (the trades).

Make good use of graphics to brighten things up and bring things together in the top 10 list on the homepage. We need some general menus and navigation, and then a specific menu that stands out for navigating between the different top hosting lists available, so we could use small icons beside the text in these (we'll have lists for such things as; cheap hosting, fantastico, cpanel, shared, reseller, dedicated servers, managed servers, vps, free domain, green hosting and so on).

SOUND OFF

• Contest ends at the end of the month (30th September).
• No copied or previous work, this must be new, unique and original.
• Be creative and have fun.
• Entries must be of a high quality or a winner won't be chosen.

Btw, such a long dead line makes the contest go back in threads & no one will have chances to enter!
5-10 days are lot enough for a webdesign contests, i hope!

A month? Designers will start getting bored and you will not receive optimal designs. Just a thought.....im entering this one!

 

I did it this length to give everyone a chance to see it and get something in.
