Hi Guys, 60 hours contest, payment via PayPal. All images to be supplied in both Vector Image form and PSD complete with details of fonts used or a copy of fonts used (if not standard) and details of Pantone Colours used. The design is to be for a clothing company called O-x-f-o-r-d R-o-a-d (remove the hyphens!) Please post ALL entries in this thread, PM's will not be entered into the competition as this is unfair on those who post in the thread. The LOGO needs to be designed on a transparent/white background. I am looking for a clean, modern design that represents QUALITY and STYLE. I am wanting the words O-x-f-o-r-d and R-o-a-d and some sort of design element (be it the initials or a symbol style) that can easily be replicated onto garments either via printing or embroidery but which ties in with the name of the garments. Feed back will be available as and when I can get to my laptop but I will do so at least once a day. ALL WORK MUST BE ORIGINAL The contest will end at 09.30 (GMT) on Thursday 5th September. As always, I reserve the right not to choose a winner HOWEVER please note, this has never happened yet!
Hi Logos4all, thank for your input. I like how clean the logo looks, I'm not sure about the hexagonal shape for the O in the symbol. I'd like to see it with a more rounded shape maybe the O used in the font. Thanks Hopper
Logos4All, I like the new revision more than the first, thanks. technoguy: I like this but I'm not sure about the symbol, I like the fact that it's O&R, I just think the font/design used for the OR is perhaps a little dated, almost like old fashioned script. I would like the symbol to look more contemporary. Thanks.
Logos4All, thanks, just seen the 3rd revision, I quite like this one also, I'll send them to my partner to get their feedback, thanks.
Thanks GM8, much appreciated. I'm not that keen on the OR, at first glance it looks like a Q with the \ of the R, sorry. Also, it's all a little too bold, but thank you for your effort.
Hi Guys, Altruist Design: #11 & #13 - I like the design however the crown logo is very similar to one already used by a company within the same field and as such I would want to steer clear of using a crown as a symbol. GetDomain4U: #12 I like this design and think it looks great on a letterhead/business card but I think it would be difficult to replicate on a garment, there is a lot of embroidery work required there. IdesignLogo: #14, I like the simplicity of both of these symbols and can see it on a garment, thanks.
This contest is now closed. I will be discussing the designs with my partner and I will get back to the winner later, hopefully that will be today however if not I am away for the next 5 days and this may mean that we have to announce a winner next week. I would like to thank everyone for their efforts and there are some really good designs there, there will definitely be a winner. Thanks Hopper
Hi Guys, Sorry for the delay in announcing a winner. The winner is Logos4All with #5. Thanks to everyone who entered the competition, the results were great.
