What is the best way to spend $25 on building pagerank. I would prefer to have an online service do this for me.

    Thanks!

Pay someone $10 to write and article, and then someone $15 to submit that article to article directories.

If you are only prepared to spend $25 doing this then you may as well not bother. You won't get any results for $25.

If however you are saying "whats the best thing to do with my $25?" then go with directory/article submission.

I plan to do pay someone to do directory submission as well as the $25

Is this really true? I just need a pr2/3

you can probably get a PR2 just by fanning your %@#$^. If you want more than that, go with the directories and articles. And maybe do some link exchanges with other sites - doesnt cost anything but it can be time consuming.

Try adding at least two (2) more zeros to that $25 to get anyone serious to get you some results.

^^ Not really ... Depending on your creativity and your talent of finding the niche for websites you can actually get the cost lowered! Not that 25$ .. lol .. that's what Directory Submitters charge, if Complete Optimisation is required, then the charges can go anywhere like 1500-2000$ .... It may be more if his site lacks content and/or is garbled!
@math20, PR is nothing but just a way of google for depicting the importance of a page!
What matters is your backlinks, your content and your SERPs :)

Do it slowly, over time, and it will reward you. The PR isn't important, the traffic is. I know that sounds cliche these days, but I've had several PR 6 sites that scraped 20-30 unique visitors per day.

In addition to paying for directory submissions, which is great, visit the solicitations and announcements thread every day and make it a goal to add your site(s) to 2-5 directories per day. Yes, new ones have no PR, but eventually they will. Six months down the road, as those sites start becoming popular, your site starts gaining PR. And if the directory listings are default sorted by PR, you move to the top. If not, you are the first to submit, so your listing stays front page.

5 per day x 30 days is 150 per month. Over six months, that's a LOT of links! I've had my best luck with new sites doing this. I have two, so far, that have avoided the mystical "sandbox" all together. Google traffic from the first month and still getting it months later. No coop, no paid links (other than a few featured directory links), just adding to directories.

Post your url to this page...
If its family friendly and appropriate, I'll throw a couple of links at it. (PR4 or so)
If a couple others do the same..
It should come up a point or two within about 3 months or so

Try directory submissions. There are few guys providing 100 PR5+ directory submissions in just $10.

Also, go for PR3+ directories....you'll get good number of backlinks by dir submissions.

If you only have $25 to spend then put it into directory submissions, you'll get a few good links back and PR 2/3 should be hit pretty easily.

I think that you will better go with those 25 USD and buy some coca-cola, pepsi and coffe ... and start doing reciprocal linking :)

Why not give yourself a backlink from your own PR5 site?;)
