Contest $25 simple logo

My client wants a very attractive logo for a group of young vibrant Britons with African origin.

The name of their organization is:


They have no preferences for colors but they definitely want a star in front of the name (above). They have shown me the BET logo (image below) as their source of their inspiration.



While they want something similar, they obviously need something creative and different to BET to avoid copyright issues.

I will pay $25 for the winning entry and payment will be made immediately by paypal. The contest will run until they choose a winning entry. All entries will be submitted to the client for them to make a choice.

Thank you guys, for the great response/submission. Like i mentioned, i 'll forward every design submitted to the client (tomorrow) who 'll pick the winner.
