Contest [$25] Mobile web app logo.

Hey guys, I'm back to buy another logo. What I need is something good done for a web app I'm building.



Here's a rough idea of what I'm looking for.
This contest will run until Thursday, February 10th, 2012 @ 6:00PM (GMT -6:00)

Winner will be chosen by me. I do reserve the right to redo the contest if a suitable logo was not chosen.

I will be paying to your PayPal account via my credit card.

Here is my try.I made the changes you requested.

 

I like that better, now do something with the text so it stands out more and doesn't look like a font was just slapped onto it.

The vector is modified and its free to use. I respect your opinion but id nothing wrong here.Just a little competition .

Using someone else's vectors is fine as long as you have the rights to it. I can't really see that link right now as I'm blocked from the firewall at my work. But if you do use someone else's vector images, make sure you have full rights to use it either for free, or paid. I'm not fronting your bills to create the logo.

Also throwing out there that if you have any other ideas for a logo, they are accepted, and if it's a good enough alternative, we are willing to pay an extra $25 for a total of $50 for an exceptional logo whether it's along the lines of the logos seen here, or a new idea all together that goes with it.

I'm not worry about the competition its just not my style using someone else work even if it's free to use

 

Yes, you can make something different from my idea, and if we like it, we're willing to pay extra... Just go wild. But remember, it's name is Bar Scout, and it's an app having to do with bars.

Also please note, simplicity goes a long ways too. You don't have to make it so intricate and full of things. Think along the lines of Facebook, Twitter, RentPost.com. Their logos are so simple and if you saw them you immediately know what it's for.

Will talk it over with the partners and see what they have to say.. In the meantime, I guess wait and see what others come up with, or do some alternates if you want. Gonna try and hold out until the contest time and give others a chance to go before we pick a definite winner. But so far, you're on the right track.
