$25 Logo/Header Design Contest, Challenging

Hello, I'm looking for a header but mainly a high quality logo for my site http://www.buyestablishedwebsites.com

It needs to blend in with the rest of the site, needs to be Web 2.0 style and professional.

    Primary colors: Green, Orange
    Secondary colors: White, Gray
    Include:
    Web Address - BuyEstablishedWebsites.com
Slogan - A Revolution In Buying And Selling Websites

I put 'challenging' in the title because you need to be able to create a logo that ties in with the site name/theme.

Obviously it's not black and white like it would be for say a dog related site (probably use a picture of a dog or a paw print).

You will need to create a logo that visually represents the title Buy Established Websites. Be creative and give me some good choices.

I don't necessarily mean a literal representation either, it could be anything. For example what could symbolize the word established.

I'm skeptical whether or not anyone will be able to provide me with a logo that I would be pleased with but I know there's some good talent here so hopefully you guys can think of something so I can support the underdogs in this industry and not have to go to a logo design company.

Remember this job is for a complete header for my site that blends in nicely but I want the main focus on the logo itself.

This contest will remain open until Sunday the 27th during which time I will choose a winner if there are some good entries.

Payment will be made via PayPal.

*I reserve the right to end the contest before Sunday or anytime during Sunday.

*I reserve the right to not choose a winner since I'm skeptical about someone being able to create a pleasing logo that meets my criteria, but honestly if you guys have creative ideas that can tie the logo with the site name there will definitely be a winner.

Heres my first go, I tried to make the streaks look like a globe to show the "globally known website" and have the box symbolize a website page. Feedback Please! :) (I will continue on with the header design when you are satisfied with the logo itself)

Although it kind of makes sense when you describe it it definitely doesn't make any sense just looking at it. It's a nice attempt but not what I'm looking for. It simply doesn't tie in the the site name like I'd like.

This is more on the right track I suppose but it's too cartoony, not professional enough. I don't really like the fact that you use five different colors for the text either, that seems a little unprofessional as well.

Alright, I may work on this again but maybe not... So what, I'll change the colors of the text. Maybe make the logo a little less saturated and take out the computers background?

Here is my go at it. The logo explains itself, which is what a logo should do. Of course this is just a rough draft of my idea. I have used the term "BEW", making it brandable and easier to remember. Just like we refer digitalpoint as "DP". I think emphasizing on the term "BEW" will make it extremely easy to remember.

Here is the logo in action, please note this is not the header, it is something I quickly put together to show how the logo will look on your website.

Exnie: Yea, I really don't know

dely^gun: A wrench isn't really what I'm looking for, nice try though

Chister: You are definitely on a good track with this. I don't really like the BEW price tag at all though and I don't want my logo to take up more than half the header. The logo should include all the text "BuyEstablishedWebsites.com" and the slogan and there should be no other text on the rest of the header. You forgot a word in the slogan "...buying and selling websites". Keep trying, you could end up with something I like.
PS: I noticed your sig, I'm actually roommates with the owner/creator of that site.

That's actually pretty good. If you could incorporate a website (or web browser) with it it may be better. It's a good start and the color scheme is good and simple, I'd just like like the graphic to tie a little more into the site name.

Just play around with some different ideas I guess to try and create a logo that's more in touch with the name. I like what you have though.

That's actually a pretty cool logo design but unfortunately I definitely need it to tie into the site name somehow.

RNHalawi.com: This is a really good logo too, not any better than your last though. Here's some tips 1. Make the wire connecting the tag to the the B more normal and circular, it's a little too wacky looking although I'm sure that's what you were goin for. 2. This is the big one, instead of the dollar sign within the tag try to symbolize a transaction. Symbolize the buying and selling process. I know what this means for me but I wanna see where you can take it. Also feel free to make the tag bigger if you feel it'd work better with whatever you try and do. Good luck.

    Here are my revision designs:

Here you notice the graph coming out of the price tag that signifies "established". I also have the arrows signifying buying and selling go around the price tag. Also the arrows going around the price tag mean "revolution" in buying and selling. One design is with the blue revolution circle and one is more simpler is without the revolution. I know its a bit hard to explain but you gotta imagine it.
