Contest $25 Logo Design Contest

I'm looking for a logo for a new UK property-based website. The site is not live yet but you can see a preview below:



The main colours of the site will not be changing so I'd like the logo to fit with the design.

The icon currently in use is NOT the one I want to go with, though I would like some kind of icon to be used. You have creative freedom to come up with something that looks relatively simple, yet futuristic.

The main text should be: PropTech Reviews
The tagline is: Showcasing The Best UK PropTech

Upon choosing a winner, I'd ask for the following versions:

1) The main logo as a png on a transparent background
2) An inverse version that could be used on a light background
3) The icon as a transparent favicon image
4) A print-ready version of the logo (vector?)
5) All PSD files

For clarity 'PropTech' means 'Property Technology' - hence why I want something that looks futuristic (but not in a cheesy way).

Contest will run until a winner is found. Everyone will get 24 hours notice before a final decision is made and the contest is closed.

That's a pretty good start! I quite like it. No more feedback to add at this stage. If you have other versions with different fonts and/icons then happy to consider them too - otherwise happy to wait until a few more entries are in.

@qwerty111 - thanks. I still like the first one the best I think but I wonder if the icon may be better all in the green like the second one. And maybe the door needs a handle so its more obvious what it is.

@Amine8441 - Thank you, though I'm not keen on these. They don't have the futuristic look/professionalism I'm looking for but can't put my finger on why.

@qwerty111 - I do like the last one. I 'think' I probably like it best of all the variations you've done. It's on my shortlist.

@Amine8441 - Sorry, not keen on any of your new ones either. They look a bit too retro for me.

@Setiyawan - This has potential. Would be good to see it with some colour brought into it as think it looks a bit plain in all white. Also maybe try one or two variations of font as not too sure on the current one.

@3SS - I like the one with the backwards P and the R in the icon the most. Though I think the icon is too large and I probably don't like it quite as much as some of the other entries.

@logos4all - It's nice but I think the icon is a tough over-complicated for what I'm after. It's also a bit too much on the large side I think.


Some great entries though! So far most people have gone along the lines of having the icon as some graphical version of the P and R. Would be good if we could try some more variations with something more abstract, maybe a play on the one that's used on the site currently, or something completely different. The key thing is simplicity, I don't want the icon to be distracting from the text.

I think most of the ones so far are good at getting across the 'property' angle but not so good at conveying the 'futuristic/technology' angle.

 

@getdomain4u - I think the icon is perhaps over-complicated. Also, with the text I think when it's shrunk down to the site it will be on the site it will be almost impossible to read the tagline.

@adwaitk007 - Nice but I don't think the location pin is unique enough. the star helps but it's probably not enough.
