The theme is SEO confusion and myths (without giving too much of the game away). I don't need (or want) any text on the logo. Except for maybe one word or phrase ("SEO" or "SEO confused?" - the SEO can be with or without a question mark). Possible ideas for the image: Someone looking confused (just their head?), a cartoon type style. The same as above, but wearing a tinfoil hat. The same as one of the above, but with the addition of the text "SEO" (possibly even with confused below it). The O could perhaps be the confused persons head (with or without a tinfoil hat). Like I mentioned, possible ideas. Maybe someone has better ideas (although I rather like #3). I would need it in PSD format (or another one I can work with in Paint.Net, if I need to further amend it in the future for use elsewhere), to know the font types used, a copy in PNG format and a matching favicon. (Maybe I am very demanding, sorry.) Payment is $25 via PayPal. I would like to keep the competition open until Saturday evening (20:30), as long as there is a winner.
@brainstormingin, I like the first one. The use of colour is interesting (but doesn't look right without a "!"). @Animman, the second one is more on the mark. I think the word confused below and a "!". @both, one thing missing is a tinfoil hat.
That's cool, Animman, but I wonder how he would look wearing a tinfoil hat. I think it might fit more with my site's theme.
Maybe better without, having now seen it. Are you able to change the mouth a bit? It looks more unhappy than confused. A good example of a confused face (yes the MSN confused smiley! ): And the exclamation should be larger, so it runs alongside SEO and confused.
@Animman, yes like that. @contestant, he looks more like a Viking, so it would be best to lose the hat.
@brainstormingin, the second one is good, I think it will look even better with the lettering and exclamation mark in colour.
#2 is more like it. I don't know why, but the face makes me think of Danny Sullivan (although it doesn't really look like him).
@Ciul3x, no. I think it's just right. @contestant, top and bottom right are nice (their hair is fitting).
@brainstormingin, the second one is good. I've had quite a few good entries (including some via PM), so now I think I must make a decision (by 20:30 UK time tomorrow).
