Hi DP, I have a client who needs a logo designed for her business. The company name is "Designs by Darmar" She will primarily use the logo on a black background, but I would like something that will work with light or dark backgrounds. She would like something "elegant" The business is in flowers, arrangements & event planning. Let me see what you come up with! Winner chosen in 48 hours or less & paid immediately via paypal. Ask any questions you like! Terry
@m3l1ssh4 - right now it's pretty open, i'd like to show her a few options in the morning (within 12 hours). I would probably stick to the more "elegant" look. @ktutorials - awesome. i like it. - other than the fact that it's misspelled. @blakemoso - it's awesome as well. let me show it to my client and see what she says, but it may look too bold - and although very cool, isn't elegant- which is a term she used more than once during our talk. I'd like to see a different flower option as well. nice work so far!
entry sent via PM. zyndtel, i used scriptina too (i made mine before seeing your entry)... no plagiarism intended mate
More excellent work, DP! @martalina - great work, let's see what my client says. @surenther - very nice! might be a bit too flashy, but let's see what my client says! @Neonic - a little too "plain" - great work though - see if you can add anything to it to spice it up @wholetmein - waaay too bold, not suitable for the business or it's cards/letterhead. @herenow - not quite what we're looking for, needs more of a "web 2.0" feel i think... @zyndtel - nice work! I'd like to see an actual flower though rather than the outline @harizd - nice work, but not what we're looking for. @l3fty - thank you for your entry - nice work Keep up the good work, i'm going to send the samples at noon today (EST) Terry
I´m looking forward to your client´s response, because I don´t have the slightest doubt that my suggestion is the best so far. This must sound arrogant to you, but it´s simply the way it is. Elegant and the respective business don´t match with web2.0 and you should avoid anything childlike. Plus most of the other proposition seem quite random to me, not even minding the spelling. I hope you´ve recognized the D at the center of mine. You know, this is what I consider design, not simply putting a pen into that has nothing to with flower arrangements.
