$25 Logo Contest

I need a logo for a client of mine for a new drumming tuition site. The logo should have a drumming theme and the text "Dan's Drum Lessons".

You can use any colour scheme you want.

I will pay the winner by Paypal.

Hi everyone.
I am Dan of Dan's Drum Lessons - my amazing friend Tony has posted this logo thread and i have a few comments.

Logo 1) (Cbrown) looks a little empty and i also think the 'Dan' font needs to be different

Logo 2) (jackieh1971) I quite like this one but it would be interesting to see it in different colours - the sebsite will probably has a blue/white theme

Logo 3) I quite like this one too but the apostrophy needs to be added in the text and also the wording on the drum sticks needs to be the same way around.

I'm thinking of somehow having faded background images from drum companies -please feel free to include some of the following as it would look too crowded with all.

www.yamaha.com/drums (kits)
www.shure.co.uk (mics)

Much better than i could do but doesn't stand out - the logo NEEDS to be eye catching and i'd like some faded company logo's in the background - see above for web links. Thanks

I'm just afraid of the legal issues with using other companies logos in your logo...that's why I didn't follow your advice... I will try to make a revision to my current one though!

I was thinking about the legal standpoint, too. Are you selling their products?

 

No i am selling online drum lessons - most of he above companies are giving me free products and are supporting me in this venture - I will speak to them today to double check i can use there company logo's in the background (faded).

I'd like to see some ideas and im pretty much 100% they wouldn't have a problem but i will double check them all.

 

I have the go ahead from Vic Firth, Sabian and Remo - I'm waiting for a call back from the main man at Yamaha drums - so feel free to add the following logo's in some way.

I will re-post to confirm what yamaha say.

i have saved these at BitMap too - if anyone needs them just ask but you can also grab them from the net.
