Launching a site that is a portal for articles written about the production, design, and event management of the special events industry (corporate events, weddings, social events, etc) - The site name is Special Events World I need a catchy logo that is clean yet creative and fun. What I mean is that the logo needs to be professional, but also capture the creativity of the industry. The people using this site will be the event producers, event vendors, and designers. Here are some bigger sites for people who work in the industry this site will be promoted to. You SHOULD NOT copy any images or logos from these examples but these sites will allow you to see the creativity of the people the site will attract. http://www.showtimeevents.net http://www.avcompany.com/#Home http://www.ivyrobinson.com/ivyrobinson.html Colors: Looking for logo with dark blue, grays, with a hint of brighter colors. I am open to any shape or size for consideration, but 400 px by 250 px is a good size to use to start. Will need files in layed psd or pdf format (for Photoshop use) Payment: $25 Payment will be sent via PayPal. Winner Determined by: MY opinion of the best drawing posted. I WILL be providing feedback on each design posted and requesting adjustments to consider if I like the design. Time Limit: As soon as someone posts what I’m looking for or something else I like BUT HOPEFULLY in the next 3-5 days and by 5/15/09
Cash, Thank you. Not bad, but I need something more professional looking and polished. More of a professional brand image. Also, just because I mentioned 400 by 250, I am open to anything. So if your logo is 250 by 100, I am interested.
tdesigns - very nice and thanks Feedback - the word world seems to dominate the rest of the logo. How does it look if we reversed the fonts and had special events in the font World currently is in and vice versa for world. That is probably going to change the circle or course because the I will change.
Here is my entry.. dark blue in color.. in unison with yellow stars.. 400 px by 250 px awaiting feedback..
tdesigns - it still just does not grab me. thank you again for revising. Neonic - not bad at all and the first one I liked initially. See my general comments below creative-rascal - just ok to be honest - see my general comments below also please NsaneNoob - can't use anything with the star like that. just to close to the showtime events logo from the links I posted in the first post. GENERAL COMMENTS - thank you to everyone who has posted so far, but nothing is really jumping out as me as the clear leader. I am not sure how the "circle" image got into many of the designs, unless everyone is trying to create an abstract "globe" image. Also, if possible please try to stay away from stars. to many special events companies have stars in their logos and I would like to be different if possible. Please keep them coming and thank you all.
I had already started on the circle design when I read your most recent comments, but I'm posting it anyway. No stars! lol
Vkullar - interesting designs. definetely unique, but not my style. the font/text is hard to read and might not look good in a smaller setting. thank you for your efforts and I hope to see more. jackieh1791 - I understand your comments and that you had already begun your design. I like your style and graphics. Can you adjust it so the image is not above but to the left of the words. I would like to see it that way please. I am curious how you would layout the words with the image to the left of the words. RiodaV - thank you for your efforts, but just not clean and polished enough for our use. thank you again.
This design is a from a friend of mine.. and wants me to be a third party to present his design. So here it is.
Ooo i didnt pay attention to the colors... this is my attempt, focus more on the grey scaled one at the bottom. Can make changes
joidiamonds - thank you for your submission - can you please see this post I made - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=11390146&postcount=12 not sure I am 100% sold on a "circle" image and stars, but willing to consider anything.
