Contest $25 Logo Contest - Group Buying Site

We're looking for someone to work with to design a logo for a new group buying site.

The name of the company is Gratsoo[.]com - the name loosely translates to "penny pincher" in English, but the literal translation would be "penny scratcher".

We're open to all types of designs and ideas, but here are a few points and variations we would like to see:

1. A Canadian penny used as one of the "o"
2. Two Canadian pennies used for the two "o"
3. The logo with .com in the name and without the .com

We would like the logo to be somewhat "cartoonish" with bright, lively, "summery" colors.

We may ask the winner of the contest to continue working on the logo until we hammer out all the details, but we will offer an additional compensation.

The contest will be ending on Sunday at which point a winner will be chosen.

** I think it goes without saying, but once we choose a winner we get sole rights to use the logo.

 

cristiano18, great design, love the colors, but could you try to swap out the last "O" with a Canadian penny? and also add a ".com" at the end?

 

I tried to add the coins, but they don't fit to the font.. it looks much better withouth them

Hey guys, thanks for the submissions so far. After discussing it over with my partners, they don't like the cartoonish look. Here's an example of a logo that someone else created, we really like the idea of the 4 bars striked out but we would like something a little more professional looking.
