I need a logo for service website. The service name is One Up Consulting. We offer IT consulting services to small and medium sized local businesses. The logo should be clean and web 2.0, retaining the bright colors and losing the cute. No bubbles, bubble letters or round, cutesy shapes. In short, avoid logos that bear any resemblance to Joopz, Flickr, Squdioo or Twitter. Also, avoid the over used and ever expected corporate blue and green as main colors. The logo will be the central focal point of the website. It is a single page, with limited text and contact information. For an example, see sipplay.com (we are in no way related to them). The service name should be included in the logo, but should not be the focal point of it. It should focus mainly on the graphic and colors. Light gradients are good. Heavy gradients are bad. Attractive, complementary outlines are good. Distracting and contrasting outlines are bad, unless you can make it work. Logos should have dimensions of at least 500 pixels in height or width. It doesn't need to be square, but does need to be big. This contest will continue until someone posts something amazing. Payment via PayPal.
Here's 2 concept Ideas the below 2 ideas came to mind when I read the project brief Feedback Appreciated
Hey guys! Dropping off some feedback. Try to stay away from arrows. IMO, they're a bit overused and don't provide the unique punch we're hoping for. P!ease remember, bright, crisp co!ors. [one of the keys on my keyboard has sudden!y stopped, so the ! is a substitution]
can graphic be constructed with "1" or "one Up"? What I mean is that the "one up" can be used in the graphic instead of the concept. I ask because if the text of the logo needs to be changed at the end ,this will matters. I hope you understand what I mean. Thanks
I'd prefer if the name and the logo were separate, but it isn't necessary if you have a great idea. I may want to integrate a tag line in the future. gipanuhotko, I like the colors and the gradients, but the graphic needs to be the focal point. The name is overwhelming it.
