$25 Logo Contest - Excel Website

Appreciates your kind feedback on my entry:

 

Cheers for all the entries, you guys are making this really hard on me.

I'll provide feedback in a minute but I really like MantisArt's idea of showing the logo on the website so if possible when submitting ideas can you put the logo on this image:

@reesylou - I really like the idea, especially of the icon, but it doesn't really have that web 2.0 look.

@onlyfights - A bit too similar to lejkas and I pretty much have the same criticism about this logo.

@joidiamonds - I like it, looks good

@instant87 - A bit too plain and I don't really like the image in the background

@gestalt - Looks good, but is that excel logo from an icon pack or something?

@sorbisorbu - Looks good but seems a bit too ambiguous to associate with a brand

@TindiRindi - I like the font and the style but the 4 just looks a bit odd that bit

@sairos - Looks good, I like the last one

@MantisArt - I like the excel part but the 4 part just looks a bit too "mean"

@Shadyy - Looks good but I'm not sure if it will really fit in with the rest of the site

187KRZ why do you need the play button removed? The logo goes in the top left of the site.

@Shadyy - Looks much better with the green background on the 4

@lejka - Looks good but I think its a bit too tall to use on the site

@MantisArt - I like it, looks really good

@suke - The font looks a bit out of place on the site imo

@darike - Really like the logos, quite smart what you've done with the excel logo. Not sure which one I like best out of them though, would it be possible to paste them onto the image of the site I posted earlier? Oh and would it be possible to add .com to them?

Folder was done in Axialis Workshop and then imported into Photoshop. You can have whatever VBA or Excel icon that you wish or I can replace the folder?

@joidiamonds - Looks good, thanks for the entry

@gestalt - Thanks for clearing up the icon issue. I like the icons but the text really isn't doing it for me.

@zyndtel - I like the concept but it looks a bit too cartoony

 

Alright so the entries seem to be slowing down now so I think I'm going to pick a winner on Saturday, let me know before hand if you're still working on something so I can take a look at it before announcing the one I've chosen.

Now while there's been a lot of good entries in this thread theres really only been a couple that I feel really have the web 2.0 look I wanted and look good on the site. This is probably my fault for not really giving accurate enough feedback. So just so you guys know the kind of look I'm after I think the entries by 187KRZ and darike are my favorites so far.
