$25 Logo Contest - Excel Website

    Hi,

    I'm looking for a new logo for my website www.vba4excel.com . The website provides video tutorials teaching VBA for Excel. The logo will go on the top of the website in the current location as well as at the start of the videos.

    I would like the logo to say VBA4Excel.com and if possible have an icon next to it. I don't mind if the slogan is included or not, so long as it looks good. I would also like it to have a web 2.0 kind of professional simplistic stylish look.

    Edit - It would be nice to have an icon but as long as theres something that makes it instantly noticeable its not a necessity. For example, you could make the "4" stand out instead.

    I will select a winner in 4-5 days and will post before I do so in case anyone is still working on something and wants to let me know. Will pay the $25 via paypal.

    The fonts good, although I would prefer the .com below or to the right, but I'm not a big fan of the icons.

    VBA stands for Visual Basic for Applications, Its a coding language for Microsoft Office products. One of its main uses is to develop macros for programmes like excel to help automate tasks.

    I think that's much better.

    Also, I know I said it would be nice to have an icon but that doesn't mean it has to. If anyones struggling to come up with an icon (and I don't really have any ideas myself) perhaps make the "4" stand out or something instead.

    @redhouseforums - I think I prefer the TV icon one to your text based one, the 4 just looks a bit odd.

    @187KRZ - I like it, looks good.

    @lejka - Looks good apart from the fact that you spelled Excel wrong but seems a bit too generic to really associate with a brand.

    Is currently only a rough draft to see if you like the concept - font not quite right yet and logo only BMP - but is hand drawn. If you like the rough idea, I'll revise it and vectorize the whole thing then repost.
