$25 Logo Contest! ~ "Dot Com Moms" ~ Immediate Paypal! ~ Please Submit An Entry!

I'm looking for a professional and clever logo for the upcoming "Dot Com Moms" website. The site will contain resources and information for Moms starting a website for business/profit. (the website URL is dotcommoms(dot)com)

I have no specifics for the logo itself; just random ideas that I've thought of. (Just my own ideas, please be creative and try other things if you have your own ideas!) I was thinking about possibly a computer mouse somehow worked into the logo, or maybe something with a laptop.

I'd like to also use the logo in print as well, so I'd like it to have a nice professional feel to it.

Thanks for the entries so far! I'm looking for something with a professional feel to it, so it can easily be used in print and on business cards, etc. Not really interested in a "photo" type logo, if that makes sense.

Something with some sort of small icon that is incorporated into the "Dot Com Moms" theme, perhaps. Sorry, I'm sure that is probably hard to understand, I hope someone does!

 

Any feedback for my entry? Like, want something changed? Start from scratch? Any comments will be taken into consideration.

and it can be print for business card etc too in grayscale or colors as u see..

 

aalicki - I like the concept of your logos, just not crazy about the font and would rather go with some sort of icon-type rather than a photo-type image in the logo.

m3l1ssh4 - your ideas are nice, too. can we do away with the reflection/mirror? and play around with other color combos?

 

momrocks, thanks for the suggestion and comment. I'm working on a logo from scratch now. WIll be done in a short while. I think you'll like where I'm going with the new design.

The logo is rendered more for the 'vector' and sizable uses. It does not feature a mouse, or laptop, even though I could not get the right feel when I added those elements.

I think my favorite concept so far for this logo is to somehow get a mouse incorporated in it OR to do something clever with the "dot com" phrase. Just suggestions, don't hold me to them!

Here's my first entry with modifications. I know that you were wanting something like a mouse but i also know that you are running the other contest for the other site. May I suggest that the logos be very different. Just an idea.
