$25 Logo Contest - 24 Hours

Hi,

I require a logo for a new project hence running this contest.

Details are:

Logo Text: QI Tools
Tagline/Slogan: Qualatative Intelligence for smarter organisations
Colour Scheme: Should compliment the black and red as per the attached example image. Doesn't need to only be black and red but must complement these exisiting colours.
Theme: Should be modern / web 2.0 style. Site will be used by business professionals so needs to have a sleek and high quality feel to it.

Format: To be supplied as a layered PSD.

Contest End: 24 Hours from the time of this post.
Contest Prize: $25
Contest Payment Method: via Paypal

@jaghanivasan: Great concept, like the cogs idea. Would prefer the cogs to the left of the text. Don't like the font on the text however. Perhaps the QI bit could be integrated into the cogs somehow?

Some Feedback.

@jaghanivasan: Thanks for the revision. I preferred the first one however, this one doesn't seem to fit together right.

@witcher: Nice compact logo, like the way this is heading. Would be good to see a few variations with different QI sections and perhaps the QI a big bigger compared to 'tools'.

@matafixer: Thanks for the entry. Bit to simple for what i was looking for.

@Priyam05: One of my pet hates is that kind of embossed look. Its a nice design but not the right feel for this site. Thanks for the entry.

@scorpionagency: Excellent work, like the tick, gives a nice professional image. I have a feeling it would look rubbish but would like to see what it would look like with a green tick. The site will be dealing with positives and negatives so if it looks good a green tick would work well. Maybe the QI could be be slightly bigger compared to tools.

@crowquill: I like this, but it looks a like an angry face staring at me. Some revisions with something else instead of arrows maybe?. I do like the way the tail from the Q underlines the rest of the text.

@cvnb: Like the Q turning into the I. Really nice work and very creative. For this project however it feels a bit too arty which wouldn't suit the type of site its for.
