$25 logo and website header contest

This contest is for a logo (vector: pds, ai, eps) and a new header for a hot new website Hustlin dot org (website under construction but you can check it out for ideas and color scheme). I will pick one winner on 8/18/08. Winner must agree to reasonable revisons until logo is what i'm looking for. Payment will be through paypal.

Website Description: Profiles of the most talented, driven, and successful people of all time, that did what ever it took to overcome adversity to achieve success.

examples: Tiger Woods, Russell Simmons, Michael Jordan, Jay-Z, Serena and Venus Williams, Run DMC, Robert Johnson, and other entrepreneurs, musicians, sports figures, etc... (I think you get the point).

So website isn't necessarily hip-hop oriented, but I need the logo to be hip, fresh, and contemporary with a corporate/clean flavor to it that will appeal to people of all ages.

Use your imagination, I need something very original. Really reach deep for this one guys, this site really means a lot to me. I will give more feedback as the contest progresses.

Thanks for all he entries. We are are on the right tract but I need you guy to put more graphics showing motion in logo and make more 3D. Huslin is like moving fast , picking up the pace, giving extra effort, like a second wind!

Thanks for your entry. Very nice design but it is more of a static concept. Looking for a more dynamic concept. See my last post, concept is better defined there.

I like your concept. Can you try to incorporate the darker green in the arrow into the font (like a two-tone or gradient look) to try to spice up the font a little. Also, lets see what it looks like without mirror image. Good work! I appreciate the post.

 

Keep the entries coming guys anmd let me know if you need any futher clarification. don't forget about header also, the one on the website is just temporary. want something that pops more.

 

Maybe someone could try designing the arrows or motion element into the font itself like the examples I posted, for a differnet look.

Thanks again for revisons, we are getting closer. Can you incorporate a shadow of a person thinking (hand on chin) into the font and make logo bigger. Also, maybe we could make the S in Hustlin stand out a little more with a different color(s) or maybe make outline a different color. I like the header too. Thanks again, we're almost there.
