Contest $25 Logo 4 day Contest - Feedback Given Promptly

  1. #1
    Need a logo for a soon to be launched site (the affiliate institute . com). The template is live and waiting for your logo and content.

    Rules -

    275px wide at the most!

    Other than that feel free to get creative.

    Hints -

    I don't like cartoons.

    Colors -

    Use your judgment as you can see the template's pretty plain.

    Inspiration -

    The logo needs to scream academia when you look at it. Logos I like are

    OSU
    Loyola
    Peru
    MIT

    Don't let these hold your creativity back. I like the idea of using a seal but I'm open to anything.

    Winner will be announced on Monday night and paid via paypal. An extra $15 will be awarded for a watermark version of the logo.

    Revised concept
    Changed the wording & added a "$" on the chalk board in the center so that it's more of a recognizable element.

    Learn/network/succeed looked better because it centered better but learn/innovate/dominate is closer to our mission goals.

    Much better although I'd prefer the text to be contained inside the shield

    @ing_pacz

    Ends on Monday night and your entry is solid! Very reminiscent of the Presidential Seal and I like it. I don't care for the A in the center, I'd prefer that to be closed.

    It looks much better in blue. Change the font on everything except dominate/learn/innovate

    Thank you for the entry but that really is not what I'm after at all. The logo looks like a cartoon, Affiliate is misspelled and the I in institute should be capitalized. Please draw inspiration from the examples I gave and resubmit.
