$25 header logo contest

I am looking for someone to design a header for my site http://bigcardshows.com/. It is a event listing directory for baseball card and sports memorabilia shows.

I would prefer that the winning graphic be the same size as the existing header graphic - 750 x 276. I would also like the menu bar to stay roughly the same size in the same place so I don't have to do extensive tinkering with my other files. Winning entry should flow with the existing site layout and display the site name. Finally, please no copyrighted graphics.

Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with. Tried this once before and was very pleased with the results.

I'd prefer a menu bar too. Can be exactly like this one or custom look, but would like to keep it in same place. Below is the current graphic template if you all want to use it as a starting point.

Ross- I like the original style better (with the tighter, faded lettering). Could you do that one with the updated design?

My Try.....

 

Ariestoteles- I like it. Could you try capitalizing Card too? Also different colors for Big and Card would help it stand out. Maybe bigger letters too (though I like the font).

Ross- same thing, bigger font might look better too.

Speno- I like the layout, though found the diagonal lined background a little distracting and am guessing that the cards are copyrighted images.

 

nah the images were of a guy's collection, so i guess they can't be, as i could buy a packet, and take pic's myself, and i'd own the cards, if you get me? who knows, i'll have a play with it anyway
