Hi guys, This contest is to design a website header that is sized 960x146 pixels. The text on the header should be Begin Forex (main text) Helping you understand Forex trading from start to finish (strapline) I am open to ideas on the design, however I would like to see some entries using blue colours and some using a funky and modern approach (for example black with a bright lime green can work well). I would like the Begin Forex part to be a logo of some sort and other images on the header could include money and other things that symbolise trading. It is a UK targeted site so would like to see reference made to that, perhaps with a small Union Jack flag somewhere. All in all I am looking for you guys to come up with the creative ideas, I do not have any pre-conceived ideas of how it should look so its your chance to have a play without being too restricted! I could do with a winner before the end of the week so if I see a header I like I will announce it and then give another 24 hours for final entries before closing the contest. This will end at the very latest on Monday but will be before then if I get a design I like. Winner will be paid by PayPal within 24 hours and will be asked to provide the header image in both .jpg and .psd formats. Good luck!
Thanks for your entry. This design is a bit too simple Im afraid, it doesnt get half of what I wanted in to it. For example the strapline is missing, the UK flag is missing, and the logo is far too simple. Thanks for trying though. I really like this one, the left hand side with the logo and strapline is really good. The right hand side is ok but perhaps you can try a few variations with some different images? The ones you have used are ok but thinking they could be even better with different images?
Thanks mate - I do really like it. Can you try something else for me please? You know you have the wavy line pattern on the side where the logo and strapline is? Can you should be how that would look if it carried on right across the header with those images sat on top of it? Edit: Actually could I also see another version please? One with the wavy line pattern going all the way across but none of the images showing. Instead just get a small icon type image of the UK flag and stick it in a corner or wherever looks right. Could you also see if you can add '.co.uk' in small text next to 'Begin Forex'?

Hi mate, Your design is ok but to be honest just doesnt have the same professional look and feel as the others. Thanks for entering though. I do like this design and it is quite close between yours and technoguys. However I have super-imposed the header on to my template and I think techno guys fits it slightly better. I think it looks more financial and professional like although it was a very hard decision.
Ok this is still my favourite so far. The only amendment I would ask for now is that the white box around 'Forex' on Begin Forex'....could you make it drop down after the X so that it runs directly over the top of the .co.uk bit? Hopefully you understand what I mean. As I am happy with this design I am going to give 24 hours before I end this contest. Technoguy is in the lead but I will give anyone still working on concepts or revisions 24 hours to resubmit before I announce the winner. Thanks for all entries so far.
Extra $25 available I have decided to throw out another $25 prize if someone can design me a new header to replace this terrible one: The new header should be the same size and use the same blue colour as the above one. The text should say 'Instant Forex Income' as the main text and then the straplin should be "Helping you make the right Forex choices". Any other aspects of the design is down to your creativity.
Hi mate, Thanks for entering. Your design reminds me of the Clickbank Forex software and ebooks that are sold. Not sure exactly why just has that kind of look. The site is an informational site rather than a product site so I think that this header would not really suit it.
Again mate these are very good designs However, what I would say is that both the hand and the flags with the text next to them stand out a little too much, perhaps you could make them a bit less obvious? Also could you try and fit the strapline I mentioned somewhere please?
I like this one, it has a slight product feel to it which as I mentioned for techfreaks design - that is not what I am looking for. However it is not too product like so perhaps will be ok. Could you try a version without the man on it, moving the hand to the far right? Also feel free to try some different images for the hand with the coins.
