I do not recommend to host with techentrance.
My account with whole sites were suspended, because 1 person used one of my proxies to send spam.
Is it my fault? Ofcourse not, how could I know, that somebody will send spam using my proxy!

anyway, server is fast, thats only + in techentrance.

 

As a reply to the complaint above - Ritu's account is 10 days old and it was always cause of troubles to me.

Few days after he signed up, I got a complaint from the owner of sharebuilderpromocodes.com saying that there is a copy of his site hosted on my server under the domain sharebuilderpromocodes.info

After comparing registration date and google cache I was sure that the .info was a clone to the .com so I checked the server and found that sharebuilderpromocodes.info belongs to "Ritu" so I opened a ticket with him with high priority. He just ignored the ticket and after I urged him to reply he sent me a PM saying he copied the site to see if it will convert well or not (as the original site was for sale at that time).

I told him that I don't solve hosting issues by PM and that he has to reply to the ticket so I keep track of the account history. again he ignored this and he replies by PM saying he removed the site.


After few days I got a spam complaint. a spam being heavily sent through my server. After investigation I found a domain in "Ritu" account being used to send spam. I didn't contact "Ritu" until I made sure of apache logs that his account is the source of the spam.

At this point, I didn't suspend his account - I just opened a ticket with high priority and got no reply. when 24 hours passed (while spam was still continous) and due to lack of communication between me and "Ritu" since he keeps ignoring any tickets about issues with his account - I had no solution but suspending the account.

Only at this point "Ritu" shows up (in a PM) and keeps ignoring the ticket - I told him I won't reply to anything in the PM and he has to reply in the ticket - only at this point "Ritu" went to the ticket to reply and I provided him with the spam message and all server logs regarding the issue.

His reply was "Huray, will get 100 years downtime."

I think that was a threat but I just ignored it so he follows by another reply.

He told me either I enable his account again or tell him to find another host - I told him I can't host an account that makes the biggest 2 problems any host might face (copyright violation and spam) and that he has to find another host so he asked for a backup and refund.

I provided the backup already which I think he downloaded because he closed the ticket already. I also told him that we don't offer refund in cases of violating our terms of service (This is web hosting business regulation)

He used all his bandwidth as well and was about to upgrade his account so he even can't complain because he got what he paid for already.

I fail to see which part I did wrong - with problems arising from this account and lack of communication from "Ritu" - Suspending the account becomes the only way to stop the troubles.

Just for the record. I never got any complaints or problems with misuse of hosting accounts from any client but "Ritu".

 

I would recommend hosting with TechEntrance. My site was the one stolen by Ritu. Tech Entrance was very professional, asked me questions to make sure I wasn't just POed, and promptly took down the site.

I would stay away from Ritu, but I definitely recommend Tech Entrance for hosting.

 

your policy on adult?.i recently bought two adult sites that do about 3000 /day but one of them is flagged for overload at gator.i think the tgp script is causing the problem.intrestingly another site with similar traffic using old fashioned autogallery pro is allowed on shared server.so i assume it uses less resources.which package that you have could accomodate these two site?if i were to move both the traffic would be 4000-10,000 /day for both sites.the site using the autogallery script is doing 5000/day with no problem on shared server.

Even I recommend Tech Entrance Hosting to my customers. The guy is a great guy, and his servers are l337.

For the price too you really can't get any better. I have one proxy hosted with him (<3 you Tech Entrance) and it's just been an overall great experience. No downtime, no problems, no hassle.

 

I'm trying to sign up for one of his hosting packages and that website ( http://www.techentrance.com ) just times out now. I was able to access it a couple hours ago, but now I can't. Anyone else?
