$25 Contest - Simple cartoon character/logo of an Indian "Guru"

Hi guys,

I need a very simple cartoon mascot for a new website of mine: an Indian "Guru" type character. I have an idea of what I want:

-He'll be simple cartoon-style: nothing too fiddly or detailed
-He needs to be smiling; perhaps even with eyes closed... he needs to look like a very friendly guru
-He'll have a bushy grey/white or perhaps black beard, and probably black or grey longish hair
-He'll be sitting down, cross-legged
-He'll be wearing robes, probably white is best
-He might have a garland of yellow flowers around him, perhaps - see what you think looks best
-It's just him I'm after, no other scenery (no floor, snakes etc - just him on a white background)
-Basically I'm thinking of a classic Indian "guru"-type character along the lines of the Maharishi chap the Beatles got involved with (pic attached; he's, er, the Indian geezer in the middle...)

That's it. Let's call it a 72 hour contest; my fave character receives the $25 by PayPal.

l3fty that is great - just the kind of happy cartoon I am looking for.

Any others from anyone else? Perhaps you could just provide a quick sketch like l3fty has done and I'll choose from that. Don't want you to go to a load of work for nothing!

 

This is my entry. Not finished, still some lines to add, colour and add the flowers. That is, if you like it.

Thanks for the three entries! Darkstone's looks the happiest, zyndtel's looks the wisest and most "guru-like"... but I think I'm going to choose l3fty's, as it's the most "cartoony-looking"! Thanks for taking part... makes me wish I could draw seeing the talent here!
