$25 - Business Card Design (Simple)

    Hi there,

I'm running a contest for a business card design for my company. Front and back designs needed. Need some originality as I am not much of an artist.

I am allowing each designer to be really unique and am not too strict on how I want the design to look - just want something that looks professional and not too over the top I guess.

The only requirements I do specifically have are the following:

    Company Logo: http://www.melbourneconcierge.com.au/logoblue4wq.jpg
    Dimensions: 1062 x 615 pixels (L X H)
    Resolution: 300 DPI

Would be a nice idea to incorporate the city of Melbourne skyline somehow, but this is not a requirement. Please feel free to be as creative as you can.

Please look at our website at http://www.melbourneconcierge.com.au for more detail on what our business is about in order to help with designs.

The winner will recieve a prize of $25 as soon as I decide my favourite design. Competition will run until I find an appropriate entry, but am looking to find one pretty soon so please don't hold off and miss out.

    Thanks everyone,
    Rob Burton.

Do you just want a blank card with a design that will be printed onto later, or do you want us to design the information (such as fonts, text color.. etc) also ?

I want the full business card design. I am able to then send the full design to the printing company who will print the template.

Kittie - Thanks Kittie - great first couple of entries. Would perhaps like to see an image of Melbourne in some way in the second design. Also, would prefer not to have manager name on there, these are more general business cards rather than for a particular person in the organisation.
Great start though and would like to see some more designs from you.

If you gave them the .psd file of your logo then they would be able to fuse them into their designs so they look 100 times better.

Very nice design - I'd like to see the design without the person's name, and the inclusion of the website address if possible. Great design though.

    Thanks in advance,
    Rob.

the person's name could easily be removed via PSD
same goes with the URL of the site

    Hey there Rob!

I'm going to Melbourne next week - should be exciting. ;)

Here's my entry - picture of the good ol' Yarra.

Feedback appreciated. I've followed your size specifications - the preview above has been resized and watermarked.

    Thanks!

Clean and simple, that's how I do it.

I also have a version with the logo up in the right corner, if you'd prefer that. I believe professional business cards should be kept simple. Seen American Psycho? Damn, those business cards were so nice. :D

EDIT: By the way, I could really use a higher resolution logo. And it is, in fact, Melbourne on that image.

Thanks everyone so much for the entries so far - myself and my business partner are absolutely delighted with quite a few of the entries, and will be making a decision within a few days.

Would like to see more designs, as we are yet to make up our mind which is our favourite.

    Thanks again everyone.
