$25 (and links) Logo/Brand Contest (For Blog)

I am in need of a logo/brand/whatever design for my blog Blogosis - The Process of a Blog ( http://www.blogosis.com ). It is a blog about blogging and all the aspects of it. Check out my about page for more details about the blog.

I am looking for an interesting design, with 2.0 features. This design will be the basis for my future custom template, so it will be very important to get an excellent design. You decide the colors, the style, everything is up to you and will eventually influence the blogs direction.

The winner will get $25 dollars, however if I feel like its the coolest damn thing I've seen in my life, I will up it to 50 dollars. I may also hire you personally to help do some other design work on my other websites and blogs. Because your design will be a key feature of my blog and its redesign, you will also get a link to your website in my blog roll and footer for the life of the blog. For now I have 66 subscribed after about 7 weeks. It's jumped around a bit the past couple weeks, but I think in a year it will have 300-500 subscribers.

So, get those designs in. The contest has no end date as of now.

It's alright. I think you may have something going on with the dots. Kinda goes with the -osis science term... kinda. heh.

I think you really need to play around with the typography though. Focus on a logo, a branding. If I decided to put my blog logo on a sports drink or something, it would need to really stick out. You don't need to focus so much on the decorations around it, but more on Blogosis.

This isn't so much a giant banner design. Just trying to brand the blog.

 

Ok, went on a totally different bent here and thought it looks quite good.

You are getting the idea of it. Needs a bit of work. But its better.

the reason I am skipping over this contest is because I really cant think of anything to create for it.

If you want some more entries why not shooting out some possible ideas for icons, or making some links to logos that you absolutely love. get peoples creativity rolling, you know what I mean?

Just for clarification, is there a specific color you'd like us to use?

 

Not bad. You are getting the idea of what I need down well. The icon might need a little work but keep experimenting with it, and maybe the font a little, but I still really like it.
