$25 125x125 banner contest

Hey guys, looking for a nice web 2.0 style banner for my site www.newpokeraffiliate.com. It's a site about how to make money promoting online poker rooms.

Obviously has to blend in with the site, and looking for something more smooth and subtle rather than overly flashy and in your face.

For the text in the banner, you could have something that flows like:

"Stop Playing Poker"

"Start Promoting"

"Make More Money By Sending Other Players To Online Poker Rooms"

Or something along those lines. Thats just a guide, so be as creative as you like; do whatever you feel will make people the most interested.

I may choose more than one winner if I see banners that I like, so good luck!

Nice effort. Its along the right lines, but I'm looking for a little something more.

The message is a little unclear, and the newpokeraffiliate.com might look better in a different font, something a little clearer would be better.

myriakitty: Yeah the background is good, anything blue and in-keeping with the site is what I'm looking for.

technoguy: Thanks for the effort, but it's not what I'm looking for. Very nice idea with the background, but I'd rather have something related to the main site in some way.

The banner is also too flashy and in your face. I would rather have a banner that is informing people about the site rather than a banner that looks like it is trying to sell you something.

Could you try a different style or two for the font of "dont just play poker" etc?

Also, can you put a thin white line going around slightly inside the box. Think that might look good.

sevenstar: A nice effort, but it doesn't seem to blend in too well with the theme of the website. Looking for something a little more web 2.0.

DesignCreator: For some reason it doesn't really catch my eye, I don't feel it would stand out amongst other banners. I think a different font would work better also.

Keep trying, still 2 and a half days left.

DesignCreator: I like what you have done with the money. I'm not a big fan of the font and overall feel of the banner though. It is not quite as cutting edge (if that makes any sense) as I would like. Something more web 2.0 and clean. Nice try though.
