Hi guys, I'm doing this once here at DP before next week hits, as we are getting a bunch of JV's and newer programs lined up and ready to launch. As many of you know, I've turned my community into a paid VIP earners club, however still come to these and other parts to do biz and to catch up with good peeps... I can't/don't list all the programs we run on all the forums I belong to, and now it's nice having my own base monetize first and most on our offers and those we co-launch/produce with. Two days ago was one of these launches and I decided to camtasia the whole thing and outline why it's beneficial to know about NC launches/intel/be a member of our community etc. The launch is going well and banked over 25K already however the video is huge so I stopped it, and may update in a week or so once there is more data... It's a big milestone for me and I won't spam the program that this video highlights but those in the know, will know. Watch the video and feel free to comment >>. A few interesting stats to note about this launch: * No pre-recruitment on this one except for one JV * We announced it to affiliates on the day it went live * grav 11 and over 10K generated from the account in one night * grav 27 on day 2 and over 25K generated in total across initial accounts and split tests. * Attracted 98 affiliates within 48hrs * Bum marketers/PPC'ers/Other list owners have been quickly attracted * Today another list owner started to promote. * Many of the affs that got on this and were able to put up a page overnight and get serped made a quick chunk of change, and will continue to get a lot of overflow/SE traffic from the blasts/buzz happening. * This has zero adspend behind it, just combining resources and coming up with a generous first JV to start your snowball effect. * Although this isn't your average campaign, this is still considered a mid level launch. If we spent more time on JV recruitment and initial awareness blitzes we could have doubled/tripled numbers easily. The next big launch we're doing, which may or may not have the types of numbers you see in the video above (has a few huge JV's setup with big lists as well) is going be the REPI Project. << Get on board early for this one and I guarantee you'll see easy overflow sales like we just predicted for the above launch. I've leaked this already however it's worth leaking again, the customer sales journey enables you to make up to $230 + $28/month recur after upgrades... We're still a few weeks away, again those that start early and at least have some SE listings, can expect sales before the buzz hits the masses. Hey Norb, I just tried to watch the video, and the audio is really garbled on my end. Do I need a special codec to hear it right?
Cheers guys, not sure re the audio, let's get some others feedback on the size/audio/load time etc. The thing is currently huge I know 18min and 60mb, however I wanted to cover a lot and make it detailed with half decent quality. I don't think you need a codec however I might be wrong, if anyone does manage to replicate the problem and finds a fix please let me know and I'll post a download link to the plugin directly on the page... Camtasia is fickle with exporting options re audio. My sound card is a multi-4 m-audio card going through a mackie board first so there might be phasing issues too. I'll try a few different settings to see if I can improve it here as well... Thanks for the heads up. N.
Norb props for the vid man. I suggest you convert the video to flv and install this (free) player: http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/jw-flv-player/ It's extremely simple to use and it loads instantly while camtasia takes up to a minute. I've been using this player on my sites and it's the best tool for video streaming I've ever come across.
I'll second the recommendation for flv conversion. I use http://flowplayer.org/ but JW appears to be comparable. I'll give that one a shot on my next project.
I just watched it and had no audio problems whatsoever. What I did was let the whole thing load first then watched it.
Thanks guys, This is actually an .flv, (camtasia custom settings...), and yes I can even build my own players, it's the rest of it that I like in CT re the preloader, the config file, the .js file etc. that let's you do a lot with it especially at this file size. I'm going to do some tweaking overnight/tomorrow, hoping to get it down to half the size and perhaps a custom player + overlay. Might also make a bunch of teaser vids for you guys to use for the ichop campaign downstream, or you can camtasia the camtasia (ha!) and make your own. N.
I let it load, and even tried it in a different browser, and same thing. That's why I'm thinking it may be a bad codec I have loaded on my system. Maybe I'll wait for the tweaked version to see if that helps. Thanks Norb.

worked OK for me, a few very small glitches, but as someone else said, lets get back on topic! WOW! The big thing you didn't mention Norb is that all those figures for the latest launch are less than 30% of the sale price, therefore the affiliates made twice as much as the totals you are showing there. It is $80/sale for the affiliates. I think you need to point this out, because there has been criticism that your screenshots are all publisher income, if you demonstrate that these sort of launches are actually making the community even more then that will boost membership. Just my 2p. Anyway, off to check if my list has bitten! JZ
Let the Norb/Noob guide be a demonstration to all of how to create a free report that is both informative but has an embedded sales message. He has tons of good advice in there, but it's clear that he's pushing his product too, and that's fine. I see way too many "free reports" that read just like a sale page.
