25,000 Customers - Medical Related Business

I have purchased a "brick and mortar" business and have decided to clear out some of my web related assets.

I am offering for sale, or perhaps as an injection into a viable opportunity, a very detailed customer list of 25,000 American citizens that purchased LEGITIMATE (no lifestyle meds, prescription required) prescription medication from my online pharmacy.

The average consumer within the data is over 50 and spent an average of $1200 annually at my pharmacy. The data can be drilled down to be very specific.

This list is a virtual goldmine for any health related business such as medical supplies, vitamins, diabetic supplies, etc.

The list was acquired over a 5 year period and annual sales eclipsed the $10Million USD mark.

I would be willing to partially finance the purchase under the right circumsatnces or entertain lucrative non-participating partnership proposals. The list will be sold once and the deal will be penned accordingly. Obviously we are talking considerable amounts of money here so I expect that any inquiries will have the ability to acquire or effectively operate such an asset. Is it legal to sell this kind of medical information? Seems like this would be against a lot of HIPPA regulations

I would suggest checking into your local laws and regulations. Being in Canada we are under no obligation to HIPPA. However, any medical information that would be in contravention would not be included as we operated our business in a HIPPA compliant manner.

In short, you will be acquiring a customer list that can be drilled down into very specific geographic / demographic areas that is receptive to medically related products.
