It has been about 24 hours since I started my first ever Adwords campaign and they still aren't showing... Does anyone know why? I am new to Adwords so any help is appreciated. By the way, my ads are meant to be on four targetted sites, My budget is $10/day and the max CPM is $0.25. Thanks.
They are not feeding the Google Monkeys their Google bananas enough. Apparently, there is a major Google banana shortage. Hence, the Google monkeys not wanting to work.
check up with the bids if they are all ok, also request a friend or too to check it out, sometimes it doesnt appear in your machine but the ads are running. try login in adwords again and check up the stats, if nothing works there's no other option but to contact adwords support.
Thankyou, but can you explain about the bids? As I said I am new to this, I have no idea what I am doing.
your bids might have got stuck as minimum about per click for certain keywords is more say about $0.10 , you might hav made a common bid of $0.05
I think the problem is merely Google manually reviewing your account. They usually do this with all new accounts before letting your first ads go live on their network. Give it 48 hours and if still nothing, check if you keywords are ACTIVE for search. Cheers Stewart
Ads that are targeted to sites always take longer than search network, because ads are 'manually' reviewed as bigmarvloyal says. Plus it's a weekend. So I think even 48hrs is a little optimistic.
Well it has been a few days, I have one Site Targetted and one Keyword campaign... And still NOTHING! I am so sick of Google.
With site-targeted it could still be the bid amount depending on the keyword you are bidding for. Raise it 1 more time. Also if you select I believe more than 5-targeted sites it shows the "Display Likelihood" depending on how much you bid. It shows bid too low long shot fair chance good chance excellent chance you then can play around with your bid
I don't mean this badly (because I've done it), but you don't happen to have your campaign and/or the ads paused, do you? As I said, I've done that when I was working on one, and then forgot to resume it. Very good article by GuyfromChicago up above, also.
It's just been flagged for a manual review. Content network targetting goes through this delay. One way to speed up the process is to call them up and be really nice and ask.
