What the hell is going on here? I put my bid in before the end of the auction, and I was the highest bidder at the end. You can't just go and sell the site later to someone else who offers more.

Looking at the timestamps, when you posted this:

The auction had already ended (at least according to the timestamps as I see them on the forum).

A 24hr Approx time period is a schedule, desired payment should be "on time"

That I sold the site at all, was based on my own descision, as my first BIN, and desired reservation prices were not met.

It went to the first bidder (by PM) last night (when auction closed), the second high bidder, who I attempted to contact by PM around time of close, never responded till today after:

    5am

Read first post "BIN: maybe later. i do have a reasonable reserve for this auction." This auction had a reserve, which included payment being made last night.

    Enuf said,

Thanks again to everyone for bidding.

RSL - remind me not to bid on one of your sites  (in other words, you just wanted to get the most you could for the site)

This is not uncommon. If A high bidder, knowing when an auction is going to close, fails to repond to pm's, or return to site, it is assumed they are either ignoring (which I do not believe is this true in this case), lost interest, or busy.

I set a time on this auction, this is the first I have done as such, because I wanted payment SOON. Check my other auctions, this is the only I posted up like this.

Did I want the most I could get for the auction? Yes.

Would I have sold it for $75 to any bidder if that was the high bid? Yes

High bid was not my concern as I simply wanted it sold this time.

Thanks to all who take the time to read this. I had an issue with my last auction, where I saw in the "high bidder's" profile he logged in, after I PM'd him, and never even let me know a time frame for payment.

In the future, if I expect payment by a specific time, I will post in in starting post.

    Sorry for confusion.

    Shane

You sent me a PM at 2:27am this morning my time. Unsurprisingly, I was in bed asleep, but when I checked DP at 8:59am I replied to your PM asking for your Paypal details and giving you the information necessary to transfer the domain and the site. You then said the site had already been sold. How can you say that less than 7 hours is an unreasonable delay for payment, especially when there's probably that much of a difference in timezones between people here on DP?

If that's your way of doing business though, I'm quite glad that you sold the site to someone else, because I wouldn't want to trade with someone who pulls the rug under buyers like that.

My appologies if 6:27pm my time is 2:27am your time.

Just as happy hour on a domain selling site doesn't pay mind to time zones, I really hadn't given them much thought either.

Though if Timezones are to be kept in mind by A Seller, then why not by a Buyer?

    I am sorry.
