    Hi all, Twitter announced a new design, which allows for a header. Explanation is here:

    We're looking for a creative way to use the new design. We're hoping to make social media magazines with one that super unique. So look at what's been done at the link above and make it better! Your submission should include the header and profile picture that goes in the middle of the header (see examples on link). It's best when they come together well.

    Our logo should be used (attached) and the header can/should have to do with friends, but be as creative as possible.

    ===========
    This is a 24HR strict deadline contest. $20 by PayPal immediately upon winner selection. $200 if we make media (we have lots of contacts, so this is likely).

    Other things worth mentioning:
    · Please post submissions in the forum for all to see. This will help when I provide feedback. I will post any designs sent via PM.
    · PSD files from the winner
    · Zero-tolerance approach to copying.
    · Original work: No templates, other than provided, or stock-images.
    · By submitting you agree that if selected as winner and paid for, I hold all ownership and usage rights to the design.​

    @Luka: That's cool, I like it. I'm not sure the wall paper is so great though... can you find one that has kids playing like friends or something? Would also be cool if the Its had a bit more sky in the background or a little bit of sun or something. FYI twitter handle is @ItsPlatonicTeam

    @Luka or anyone else: An idea for one is having our logo in the box, and then having larger logos in the background scale behind it, so they're all within each other, building up to the one in the box. I would be open to paying for two if I like them both.

    @blankeycue: The reflection below the box is cool, but the rest of it doesn't really have to do with friendship and doesn't interact with the box in a cool way.

    Mockup of one idea is shown below. Ignore the background part of it, that was for sizing of the total header only. But adding the logo around the edges of all the squares, and adding more squares so that they expand to the edge of the header, and making it look professionally done will get you an immediate $20+. twitter header draft.jpg

    @amir: That's close to perfect.

    1. The boxes should all lay within each other. So rather than having the four outer ones share the same height, they should fit within each other. If you have to change the dimensions and shape of the outer boxes to do this, that is OK, as long as the logo itself isn't distorted.

    2. The logo should be the only thing between the boxes border. So between the smallest and second smallest box, there isn't enough space horizontally (and the box is too tall). A little shadow action or something to help the 3d effect would be great too.

    Another idea is to have the inside of the square be a domino, playing card, or marble with the ItsPlatonic brand on it, and then to have outside the square more dominos, playing cards, or marbles... half with ItsPlatonic and the other half without.
