2480 Impressions & just 5 clicks??

    Hi
    I have put up Adsense Ads on my directory - World of Web Directory
    In the last 7 days , I have 2500 impressions , but just 5 clicks. Each click paying just $0.18 - thus a total of only $0.9 .

    Can you suggest anything about the placement of ads so that I get more clicks??

    Directories are known for POOR CTR!

    Dont expect much adsense income from directory!

    If you don't have much search engine traffic, don't expect too much revenue from adsense. Try to add a 336x280 block under the links tab and google adlinks on the right column.

    I'd run a skyscraper ad down the left column - white background & no border. Are some pages doing better than others? I found that the Adsense ads were not that relevant on many pages.
