the question is , does that keyword even produce links , because i find it easy to compete with weak keywords especially 3 word keywords.

hey its good effort but dont forget your url name is yr keyword, 2nd keyword is less competitive and u r at 10th position in big G.

I get articles to the top of most Google SEPR and usually within a day. It could be something you would benefit from too. The best is in my signature link but if you're interested I can send you links to others that perform quite well too - PM me a request.

 

I really don't want to rain on the original poster's parade - but a bit of a reality check is required here.
Nobody is competing for that phrase - look at the results, nobody is appearing for that exact combination (i.e look at the bolded words). You didn't need to do any hard work - having it as your url and getting indexed was enough.
Nobody is bothering to compete for it because it only gets 320 searches a month globally. Realistically you can expect to get about 170 hits a month on it.

 

It's not a major achievement, but it's still something. If he sold an ebook related to his niche, I'm pretty sure he would sell a copy or two every day.

Yeah, it moves up and down all the time. I think it's called the Google Dance if I recall correctly.

That's one of the best things you could do in SEO - to get a keyword that uses the keywords you're targeting.

 

It's good that you've done well, but we need to put this into perspective.

First, the key phrase "top 10 dslr" without quotes is searched for about 320 times per month, globaly. So, even if everyone that ever search for this on google clicks on your URL, you won't get very much traffic for this key phrase at all. Less than 10 visitors per day.

Second, there's virtually no competition for this keyphrase. That means that almost no one else is even trying to rank well for this keyphrase, probably because it doens't get very many searches. That means that anyone that tries , even a little, will likely rank well for this search phrase.

Not trying to rain on your parade. I think you've taken a great first step. now you can repeat what you've done on a more competitive phrase that will yield more searchers.

LOL yeah, that was a major accomplishment. I think I have a few reviews and how-to guides that are on the first page. Nothing #1 other than my site's domain name.

 

Congratulations. It's also a lot easier to get listed higher with exact match keyword domains in Google these days

Congrats. But it is very easy to be top1 for your domain name. If your domain name was digitalsslooos.com for example you had to do a lot of more work... BTW. Nice job. Keep working.

Yeah, I noticed my site is shaking between rank 1-6 with that only one KW.
I will have to keep promoting my site to maintain the position and get more traffics.

I select this KW (domain name KW) because I see the search trend is going up as more people start to buy DSLR camera.



Even though not many people visit to my sites via Google search.
But I still do have some targeted traffics from other sites like socials, blogs and forums.
Since December, I have daily traffic about 100 (see google analytics below), not too bad for me



I've started to made couples Amazon sells $$$ plus Adsense $$$ clicks
My income target for this site is $300/month then move on to create another one.

Since not many competitors in this KW, so my focus not to create more back-links but rather promote it on related blogs/forums.

 

If you put the work in its not hard for anybody to rank high for their chosen keywords. Its maintaining the rank that is the tricky part. Well done! And remember don't become complacent keep it up!!
