    How do you get your the thumbnail image of your website (in your profile) to update?

    I know this isn't a big issue, but when you've made a major redesign like I have then it would be nice to see the thumbnail image updated.

    And then about a month later I see that the wait is over. The ugly old interface is gone from the thumbnail and the new (not so ugly) one is there.

    Hi there,

    we now offer a free service to include a (some) website thumbnail(s) into your own page(s). The script outputs a 205x154 sized image, which cannot be hotlinked. Pretty nice for voting sites, or web directories.

    To use this feature, simply add an img tag to your page:

    Code:

    <img src="http://www.artviper.net/screenshots/screener.php?&url=www.myurl.com&q=xx" alt="" />
    Code (markup):

    simply replace myurl.com with the wanted domain name and xx with a quality level ( from 30-90 % ). If you omit the quality level, 70% pics will be delivered. The website screenshot will be taken at 1024x768.

    Thumbnails are stored for 72 hours, after that time period they get deleted. If someone requests the same thumbnail again, it will be recreated. Size of the thumbs in kb is around 5k average, depending on the quality level.

    This service is free, we just ask you to put a backlink to the pages you use this script.
