22 year-old entrepreneur / SEO Professional

Hello,

My name is Jon West (obviously) and I suppose I've lurked long enough. I got interested in SEO about a year ago and have been soaking it up ever since. In late '05 while a senior in college a buddy and I started an internet retail / SEO company named 3tailer (http://www.3tailer.com). About 5ish months later the SEO part was acquired by another company named NeboWeb (http://www.neboweb.com). So now I'm doing SEO daily for NeboWeb while running some online retail websites (http://www.socks4life.com or just Google "socks" ;-) ). Every thing's still rough around the edges but progressing, and progress is good.

Well, I just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully I'll be a frequent contributor to this community.

Whereabouts are you located in NC? We're out of Charlotte currently.

I was hoping this would get a little more pickup but I guess you have to say "Hello" and be from overseas for a lot of people to reply.

I'm pretty happy with how socks4life.com is ranking. It's first page for "socks" (and about every other socks related term) on Google and MSN but not so much on Yahoo!. My partner and I have come up with an extremely successful method of SEO and all of our websites are seeing impressive rankings.

Welcome Jon! I wish I had better knowledge of online retailing. I have some great domains for it, and keep saying I will get to using them someday. In the meantime, good for you!
