210,000 Views in Under Two Weeks - YouTube

I recently made a profile on YouTube with the intention of getting a couple thousand hits to my videos and a percentage of that to my website. Well, not long after I posted my profile it received over 210,000 views in under 2 weeks! This was the result of just about 8 hours of work from start to finish. The number of views continues to grow daily and of course, I haven't touched it since day one.

Now that may not sound like a lot to some YouTube gurus out there but for the average joe like me who just decided to take a few hours out of the day to upload some recycled videos, that's a hell of a lot of traffic and mail list signups that I didn't have a couple of weeks ago!

So here's a quick rundown of what I did.

- I looked online for amateur videos related to a specific niche. I stayed away from copyrighted material such as clips from major TV networks, music videos, movies, etc. I found a ton of great homemade clips on YouTube, Google Video, Break.com, and others. I'm writing a book on this right now so I don't want to reveal the exact niche I used in this post. Let's just say it was the weight loss niche for this example.

- I had a great product from ClickBank that I wanted to promote using the 20 videos I found that dealt with "healthy eating and weight loss."

- I then created a catchy domain name (something like www.FightFatForF***Sake.com - JUST KIDDING!) and redirected it to my unique affiliate url from Clickbank. I placed that domain name at the beginning, the end, and in the description of the video (which is clickable.) <-- Very important! Many people do not know how to do this but in fact it is very simple. It just needs to be the first thing listed in your description, and it will be automatically hyperlinked to your site!

- After downloading and editing all 20 videos with my links, I simply uploaded them all to about 10 different video sites at once. More details on this are in my report.

It took me about 8 hours to do all of this, but a lot of that time was just waiting for the videos to convert from the YouTube ".flv" format over to a Windows Media format ".wmv"

The coolest part is that I haven't even touched the profile since then and it's received about 50,000 more views in the last week.

So far I've made a little over $2,200 and approximately 700 MORE LIST SUBSCRIBERS

Talk about "auto-pilot" income!

Imagine yourself doing this for something that is really hot right now such as the new iPod, iPhone, Halo 3, pink spandex pants and jean jackets...[] you name it!

Well done, you may have just got lucky. YouTube traffic comes in small doses you wana try and make an established channel for your niche specifically targeted to your site, with quality videos.

My magic channel has about 405 subscribers with like... 18 vids.

 

Yep, that's exactly how it's setup. All of the videos are about a specific niche and my user name is related to it

yes I will get back to everyone after this starts taking flight. Took a while just to sign up for accounts on all the websites lol. A good business idea in itself would be to start a service the makes accounts for people on these websites. I would have most definatly paid for this service.

Just taking a bit of time now encoding the videos and editing them so they have my URL. I can definagly see how this will work. Hopefully it give a little boost.
