It only took me 21 months. Started in Sept 2005

congrats for the payment. I reached my first payout after 6 or 7 months with blogspot blog. I hope your first payment can push you to work harder and more serious with your website. Usually next payout will come easier, however it depends on you, how hard you work and how serious you are with your site. Congrats and keep the good work.

Sept 2005 - April 2007 - earned $38
May 2007 - earned $69

I love this month I mean thats a huge increase but hey I reached payout the long and hard way, without cheating without doing barely any advertising and what do I have to show for it? $107 so far

Also my first day with Adsense I earned $0.02. 8 hours into today, earned $0.17 LMAO!

this is bullshit man, it is not the reason why it took him so long! I am not cheating either and it took much less time.

Now, i'm not saying he's doing it badly, and i'm not judging negatively what he's doing, but following the TOS and not cheating anyone is not a reason nor an excuse for taking some time before first payment.
