    this is the worst piece of advice i have ever heard. you will get LESS from local advertising as the people doing local advertising are paying pennies per click. if you want to get that much per click, you have to dive into a VERY saturated niche which will be near impossible without lots of work

    I found that targeted/ localized page content works the best and attracts the most traffic. But overall, it'a a matter of luck. Some of the keywords that we targeted didn't even appear in the keyword tool, but became the most profitable for one of our sites, I think it's because of that semantics analysis that the big G does when people search for stuff.

    My best click was at around $8 mark I think. Normally it's within $1-$2.

    I think the problem with high paying keyword is the low traffic. No point getting just one single click of $21, and practically no traffic for the rest of the year. It's better to have $5 click every week.

    Actually nobody can guarantee. I have tried out many keywords and ad positions with my adsense account. But this is really difficult to make big money from a single click. Sometimes I get more than $2 from a single click whereas my earning from 20 clicks amount to only $0.20. If your friend has earned $21 from one click, then he is very much lucky person.
