20k Impressions and $16 ?

Within three days after the launch of my RS premium download site I got 20k impression and $16 from it.So is it going fine or I am very back ?

 

At 0,80$ CPM I'd say there's room for improvement. Depends on the traffic and on the site though. If the traffic you got was untargeted, then you may not be able to do much better than that... And if your site's subject matter attracts only low paying adwords, then maybe the same.

 

as far as I can see, the ads are not relevant excluding the link unit.
You may try changing the keywords.

 

The main thing to worry about is your CTR. There's not much you can do about low paying clicks, but there's plenty you can do to improve your CTR. Just keep working on blending and experimenting.

 

I think thats OK for such sites. You have hasd a lot of impressions but I think the CTR is quite low for such sites.

 

IMO thats normal for such site.

 

yeah, the class of website would probably generate around that mark for new and a bit more.

I wouldnt expect anything spectacular in my experience.

I can't understand how this can occur?

 

Yes that possible,because most leecher have good community and they will comeback again with new friends to generate new link.

$16 is good for start,just buy new rs account again and you will bring more leecher.

try better paying keyword also blend ads so that they dont stand out

 

seem like you improved a lots. what you need to do now is some experiment which ad format/blending strategy give you the best CTR. good luck with your site.
