Not all of your traffic join the comunity or loggin' in, so put the ADS to be viewed by everyone on the index.

hmmm only 3 clicks mate the thing is that u should place ur adds in places where people would intensionally click then i think u may get money i know people are saying low paying keywords but i dont think thats the problem bec the amount of the three clicks .27,1.13 and 0.4 aint that low they are actually normal good rates so i think u should place ur adds in places where people would click

You should switch from Adsense to CPA. PM me if you want me to recommend a network, I have an offer ready that could make you tons.

I would suggest you change the ad positions. Ads above fold tend to convert more. Try one at a time. Use a 728 x 90 letter board just below your logo and above the navigation bar. A link unit 120x90_4 just below profile picture or above the status navigation bar in the left. You can also try 200 x 200 or 250x250 ad in the profile area if it is possible. Blend the ads with the color of content. Or you can go for ads that pay pay per view along with full page pop under ads from other networks like adbrite or tribal fusion.

you just need to put ads where users can see and click them more oftenly, like within contents is the best option

I'm a forum addict and I tell you, people become accustomed and blinded to ads on forums no matter where you put them. The only way to really garner clicks like that is if someone accidentally clicks them, or clicks them out of pity and support. Forum users refresh and look at tons of threads with each visit. Lots of pageviews by much less unique visitors means they just know how to ignore your ads now. That was my experience with a decently active forum I own. I let it die due to the low ROI.

You should be able to control it, Its better to have an ads that are related to gay men in australia. Yeah try to split the pages and add it to other web page might be a good idea! Good luck

Yep I would suggest doing exactly what brainstormingin suggest. Particularly pay attention to the part where he says blend the ads with the color of the content, I have found this gets MUCH more clicks.

I will say it might due to your traffic is not targeted enough since it is from social network.
By the way, dont 100% believed that the "best placement" by other or reference site, you need to play around with the ads placement in your site and find the "best placement"

when people like us cannot find ad too quickly. how can you expect to get clicks on easily. have ads on homepage as well.
You should definately have them on homepage as well as on areas where people are more often staying.

Most gay websites show Public Service Ads. you might want to review on that. Gay news is fine, but yours is Community networking sites? hmm.. good old gay guys, lot of d-i-c-k words in there.
