Well, Gronk is in and the game is tomorrow. Any score predictions? I am thinking 28 - 24 in favor of the Patriots, but it could just be wishful thinking.
And perhaps you can ask her how the Patriots can get a defense for next year. It was painful to watch.
Yes, I rooted for the Pats. I said they would win. Maybe I jinxed them. I am the most thrilled about J. Garopollo! I try to get as many Pats on my fantasy football team every year. I usually take each player about a round ahead of when they are projected to go. They will win SB53. Without looking at another website, can you write out 53 in Roman Numbers?
LIII Well, the Pats need a solid young QB to back up Brady and they need a lot of help on Defense. The draft will tell a lot. Edelman will be back and that will be big. Do you think that Gronk is going to retire?
Ok, I should have figured 53 out without askin'. Gronk will be back, he just needs to quit the party scene, to be more respected.
The Boston Herald said that Gronk was talking to the WWE about wrestling for them. He'd be taking a big paycut, so I don't see that happening right now.
His teammates need to see him as a great player, and rally to keep him. Without that, he will drop of the deep end.
The money will play a role, too. I read an article by a sportswriter earlier this week who was saying that the Patriots should offer more money to him now (in advance of his contract expiring) to make him the highest paid tight end as he rightfully should be. Apparently there are a couple of other tight ends at other teams who make more.
It's is Gronks hands, and yac thay I like most. I think Brady can find another TE that has great hands and that is fast. Then develop chemistry, but that is just more more thing to work on. Just keep Gronk, let Brady work on other priorities, like increasing passer rating game to game.
Gronk has had his share of injuries and it had to be disheartening for him to come back from serious injury, then go out for a concussion, rush his recovery to make the Super Bowl, and then lose the game. I think that it was all of these issues that were talking when he first said that he did not know if he would be back this year. Now, however, I think that he is looking for more money which the Pats should be ready to pay. They need too many other top people to add a world-class tight end to the list.
Well, I just read that Gronk has been working out at the TB12 facility in Foxboro, this winter. Hotdog! Also, Jimmy Graham is a free agent.
Wow, Danny Amendola, Malcolm Butler, and Dion Lewis are leaving the Pats according to the news this morning. Butler was to be expected, but the other two guys will be missed. Bellichick better have some massive acquisitions up his sleeve to compensate for these losses, get a back up quarterback, and beef up the defense.
