    Yes, you're right content is king today, but there are other activities which are very important for SEO. Such as the : forum posting , blog commenting and SMO etc .

    On-page factors include: factors that directly affect your website, viz. Title, Meta Keywords, H1, page load speed, sitemap and so on.
    Off-page factors are: not directly related to your website but promote your website in ethical ways.

    These factors work no matter which year it is!!
