Thats what I've heard as well. But if you get recommendations you might find the 1% that is really price worthy

 

I had use fivver for SEO gigs in the past. They don't help me much, but on the other hand it was a fair service for 5$.
But now after latest penguin algorithm release links from services from fivver doesn't have value at all since 95% of the providers will give you very low quality links from blog posts, forum posts and forum profiles. Google doesn't recognize any value now on this type of backlinks especially from low quality web sites.
In any case if you decide to use this service don't buy something like "5000 backlinks from PR9 websites", go for something like "5 links from my privet web sites network". My opinion is that right now it is better to get 5 links from a privet PR0-PR2 websites network with low outgoing links nalume instead of 5000 spam backlinks.

 

I think this is a really good tip.

From what I have heard a lot of the ratings at fiverr is manipulated.

For example by setting up 2 accounts, one that sells and one that buys. The buyer then rates the service as great.

See the Rating and Number of Order of the 1st gig: 9134 Positive Reviews and ONLY 1 Negative Review.

Anyone tried/recommend this Gig? The problem is its auto submission will it be spammy? At least we are not mass commenting or spinning articles.

 

I'd stick to stuff like this. But on the other hand those reviews gotta mean something and I guess you can afford the $5

 

As i already mention, until the latest Google algorithm update some of this gigs was OK for 5$.
Now will not help any more. all the links from this type of gigs are very-very poor quality.

About the reviews:
Most of the reviews are positive, since the provider do the job and not just get the money and run away!!!!
You have to add your review after the delivery. But you are not sure at this moment if the gig really help you or not.
So you receive the 60000 balcklinks review and you think, OK this is a good provider, and you push the "thumbs Up" button.
Then, after 60-90 days, you realize that only 2 of the 60000 links recognized by Google, but now it is too late top change your opinion....

Go for something less attractive, but manually performed.

 

Argh. Using Fiverr for backlinks has always been a roll off dice for me. All sorts of different results ranging from good to very, very, very bad.

 

Yea, be very, very careful. I would say no. Profile links can be part of your backlink profile, but they shouldn't be everything or even most. Try blog, wiki, comments, shares/likes, social bookmarking, etc. 5000 profile backlinks is as natural as a turd in church.

 

I just came across this gig on fiverr (the original post at the top) and would like to ask anyone on this forum if they have tried this gig post-penguin, or if it looks like a good option.

Basically could I do this myself but take 5 hours to do it? In which case it makes sense to pay them to do it. I can't see how it would be bad? I'm nurturing a young site so I'm wary of anything that could hurt it so any advice would be great.

 

Yeah,this is the truth! We go for the thumbs up button as soon as the order is completed.The seller will be saying us to wait for 2 or more weeks.After some 30 days we would end up getting nothing.

 

Bot all GIG in fiverr are low quality there are some GIG there are high quality.

 

Hey Thanks for the share, I will also like to share a gig, two of em rather. my site was initially on page 3 of google. After I bought this gig, I am now ranking #4. That's right. And This process took around 15-20 days. HE creates contextual links, the content is spun but quite readable and he adds images to the article, hence they appear natural.
