    No, disapponting would be if US voters spent their time trolling Aussie forums telling them who should run their country. Cant imagine anyone here getting that obsessive though. Granted, it might appear your buddy Obama landed troops in Australia just in case you make the wrong decision, but most likely he didnt do it to keep you straight... He probably just thinks Australia is one of those 57 states he says we have. Guess they didnt teach US geography at the madras. :)

    Americans do participate in Aussie forums discussing our concerns. We welcome all angles. I think you'll find we, well our pollies are guided by Americans. I started a thread here last year about that, questioning if it is really the USA running our country, of which I suspect so.

    There must be a vast cultural divide between Americans and Australians if taking up the offer of a bet is considered to be trolling and telling Americans how to run their country. I mean, if I spent 250 million bucks on television advertising telling the US to vote Obama or else, that would be considered political interference, but a $25 bet on an international forum ????

    Feel free to comment on anything Australian. I won't take it as being anti-Australia, I will take it as it is - one man's opinion and I will make a decision whether I bother to reply, agree or take issue.

    I agree with you a 100 % on this. Me - I don't give a f**k ! Obama will win ! After another 4 years if its a Republican who win I don't care and I don't give a f**k. That's my take with the issue !

    @Obamanation

    Kind of off the subject. But I thought this was funny. I was reading Yahoo answers, not sure if this guy is a troll or what. :)

    LoL. Not every seemingly absurd question is trolling. The top rated answer said something along the lines of "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it" which is the same as saying, "If it came to that, I'd consider it".

    Of course if you really want to troll, you create a bunch of fake accounts, and answer your own question with statements like "We need to do whatever it takes". Most people will dismiss one lunatic, but when 5-10 people start agreeing on the need for martial law, any sane reader's blood pressure is going to rise. Guaranteed.

    True. Maybe it was a sincere question. But still funny.

    Trolling would be kind of fun. Although, I get out of character too easily. That one blog I had, with the petition, has been long ago abandoned. :)

    That was more inspiring before we knew what he meant by it. See HR 347 - New Bill Imperils Constitutional Rights

    Hope you arent in earshot of the Secret Service if ya choose to exercise your right of free speech or petition the govt to redress grievances. It's now a felony.

    He can win. Even if things remain the way they are, it will be close. If you think he was an idiot in his first term, just think of what he'll be like if he isn't concerned about being re-elected.
