There are a number of really good indian hosts that use servers from the US, so my question is, are you looking for: - a provider that is a local official registered indian company for tax reasons? - that accepts local currency for price stability and ease of payment? - that hosts on servers located inside of india, or do you prefer ones that hosts in the US? - that allows for local bank to bank payment, or other payment methods that would be available to locals? Just simply saying you are looking for an indian host, leaves it wide open for interpretation and doesnt provide a clear picture of what you need.
I was told they were a hostgator reseller, nothing wrong with that, but the guy *might* be looking for a host that hosts inside of india and not the US.

I don't think that Bigrock stands a chance anymore, I have a domain with Bigrock (securitysafetyinfo.com) and I tried their so called free hosting package along with the domain earlier that I even tried their Unlimited hosting plans and it is totally stupid. The website loads utterly slow so I decided to move, and finding a correct Indian host is really difficult, for now I think I find a better web host compared to any other Indian hosts, its name is Hostocol, these guys are the only providers who offer Cloudflare Railgun (a technology claims to speed up a website 700%).
