In SEO
u can do on-page with few more things, are given below
* image alt tag
* url structure
* W3c validation
* Link title tag
* using internal linking

In off-page, u can do directory submission, social bookmarking, submission in local search engines, article and press release submission, etc.

 

yeah... content is king is SEO...

 

You can do all things but first make your website Totally SEO friendly... you can check ONsite changes... if onsite done good then it help you rank your website fast.

 

SEO and SMO go hand to hand. You will use SEO to get high ranking and SMO to get traffic. More clicks you get on site more weight age site gets in Search Engine.

SEO is going more harder every day after such Google Farmer, Panda 1,2,3 updates.. I'm pushing more efforts now to grab links from high quality/authority sites for my clients. Added several activities in my hitlist like web 2.0 link wheels, guest blogging, social media marketing, video optimization, playing with feeders & RSS, Doc submission, jiggling the web and few more innovative techniques. I'm doing Google Local SEO for each of my client to get local hits, traffic from the targeted country and sometimes also working for micro sites launching using long tail key phrases to support the main ecommerce keyword of my client.
