    phplinkdirectory is best , i am using free version but can anyone tell me if i buy paid version then it can be used on single domain or it can use be used on multiple domians.

    I Consider Arfooo as best FREE directory script.Is faster and less resource consuming than PHPLD.(for an mid-sized PHPLD install,you will need VPS)

    I use PowerSeek. Generates HTML files for friendly SEO urls. (It's not free) These days building yet another run of the mill Directory won't do like one of the posters here mentioned. Build something special. Something that people would visit rather than google.com - like a niche Directory. Like hotscripts.com for example. I rather visit it than search at google.com for scripts.
